By accessing this website, registering for an event, making a donation, volunteering, or participating in any Legacy of Connection Foundation activity, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Legacy of Connection Foundation

Legacy of Connection Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization recognized as tax‑exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to reduce the healthcare cost burden for individuals and families facing terminal and life‑threatening conditions through meaningful human connection and direct support.

2. Donations

All donations to Legacy of Connection Foundation are voluntary and non‑refundable.

Legacy of Connection Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and contributions are tax‑deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donation receipts will be provided. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless explicitly stated. All donations to Legacy of Connection Foundation are securely collected and managed through Pledge It.

3. Event Registrations & No‑Refund Policy

All event registrations, sponsorships, ticket purchases, and related fees are final and non‑refundable.

As a charitable organization, event‑related expenses are incurred in advance, and proceeds directly support our mission. If you are unable to attend an event, your registration or sponsorship will be treated as a donation and will continue to support individuals and families in need.

No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, personal circumstances, or weather conditions.

4. Weather Policy (Rain or Shine)

All Legacy of Connection Foundation events take place rain or shine.

In the event of inclement weather, event programming may be modified to ensure participant safety and comfort. Adjustments may include schedule changes, alternative activities, or venue accommodations. No refunds will be issued due to weather‑related changes or interruptions.

5. Participant & Volunteer Waiver Requirement

All participants, attendees, sponsors, guests, and volunteers are required to sign a Participant & Volunteer Release, Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Terms as a condition of attending or participating in any Legacy of Connection Foundation event.

This requirement applies to all events and activities, including but not limited to:

Failure to sign the required waiver may result in denial of participation or removal from the event, without refund.

6. Participant & Volunteer Release, Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Terms

LEGACY OF CONNECTION FOUNDATION

PARTICIPANT & VOLUNTEER RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY,

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & TERMS

READ CAREFULLY. THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

By attending, participating in, or volunteering at any Legacy of Connection Foundation event, including any indoor or outdoor golf activities, simulator play, driving range use, networking activities, lunches, dinners, receptions, or related events (collectively, the “Event”), you (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participation in golf and event‑related activities involves inherent and unpredictable risks, including but not limited to:

Participant understands that these risks may arise from their own actions, the actions of others, event conditions, or other circumstances.

Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks, whether known or unknown.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant releases, waives, and discharges:

from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities, including those arising from negligence, related to participation in or attendance at the Event.

HOLD HARMLESS & INDEMNIFICATION

Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the above‑named parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

PARTICIPANT CONDUCT & SAFETY

Participant agrees to follow all posted rules and verbal instructions. Unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the Event.

If alcohol is served at any lunch, dinner, or reception, Participant accepts full responsibility for their own consumption and conduct.

MEDIA RELEASE

By participating in the Event, Participant grants Legacy of Connection Foundation the irrevocable right to photograph, film, or record Participant and to use such media for promotional, marketing, fundraising, educational, and archival purposes, without compensation.

DATA CONSENT

Participant consents to the collection, use, and sharing of personal information for event registration, communications, fundraising, and nonprofit operations.
Legacy of Connection Foundation will not sell personal data.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By participating in the Event, Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Release, Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Terms.

Participation constitutes acceptance of these terms.

7. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and materials—is the property of Legacy of Connection Foundation and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Legacy of Connection Foundation is not responsible for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during events or through use of this website, except where required by law. Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

9. Changes to These Terms

Legacy of Connection Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
