How do I donate to Legacy of Connection Foundation?
We use Pledge It as our secure fundraising and donation platform. Pledge It allows you to make a one‑time or campaign‑based donation safely and easily, while directly supporting our mission to help families facing life‑threatening and terminal illness.
Is my donation secure?
Yes. All donations processed through Pledge It are handled through a secure platform designed specifically for charitable fundraising. Your information is protected, and you will receive a confirmation and receipt for your records.
Can my employer match my donation?
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double—or even triple—your donation. After donating through Pledge It, you may be able to submit a matching gift request through your employer’s HR or benefits portal. We encourage you to check with your company to maximize your impact.
How do matching donations work?
Once you make a donation, your employer may match the amount you contributed. Some companies require you to submit a matching gift request, while others process matches automatically. Each company’s program is different, so we recommend reviewing your employer’s matching gift guidelines.
Will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?
